The $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coin was designed by artist, Christian Gobrecht. The obverse of the coin features his neoclassical rendition of the traditional Lady Liberty portrait. Framing her beautiful portrait is a border of thirteen stars to symbolize the original thirteen colonies. They are accompanied by the coin’s mintage year, which is engraved directly beneath the portrait.
Proudly embossed unto the reverse side of the coin is Gobrecht interpretation of the Heraldic Eagle, which features the national bird, armed with a shield, an olive branch and a set of arrows. The coin’s denomination and year of mintage have been engraved along the outer edge of the coin for reference.

Americas Golden Age of coining may have come in the early 20thcentury, but many of its 19thcentury coins feature Neoclassical styles that investors and collectors enjoy. What makes these coins even more desirable is their status as Pre-1933 gold coins that survived a government collection and meltdown.
Individual coins ship in plastic flips, multiples of 50 in plastic tubes.
Contains .1209 oz of .900 gold.
Struck at five United States Mint locations.
Issued with a $2.50 face value.
Features imagery consistent with other gold coins of the era.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the collection and melting of all gold coins in circulation starting in 1933. The effort was designed to bolster American reserves in the face of the economic turmoil of the Great Depression. Surviving coins, like these Pre-1933 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagles, are extremely rare and limited in supply.
The coins in this product listing were struck between 1840 and 1907. At this time, the United States Mint attempted to maintain consistent designs in all of its gold coins. The Lady Liberty and bald eagle designs on this coin were similar to these and 1839 half-eagles.
On the reverse side of each coin is Lady Liberty's left-profile portrait. She is shown with her hair back in a bun and a crown atop her head. The word Liberty is engraved in the crown, with 13 stars around her bust to represent Americas founding colonies.
The obverse features the original heraldic eagle. With a shield on its chest, the eagle holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons. United States of America is engraved around it, with the face value inscribed below as 2 D. Christian Gobrect designed the images on each side of the coin.
The United States Mint produced these coins at its Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco, Charlotte, and Dahlonega Mints. These coins are available in brilliant uncirculated condition, with no trace of wear. There is a possibility the coins will show contact marks, spotted surfaces, or breaks in luster.

Lunar Year of the Pig The Pig is the last sign in the Chinese zodiac in the 12-year Chinese zodiac animal cycle. The Pig is known for being kind and gentle, and calm when facing adversity. The year 2019 is the year of the Earth Pig, known for being communicative and popular. The zodiac sign combined with one of the five elements only comes once every 60-year cycle.
The coin's designer, Harry Brockway, ensured the characteristics of people born in the Year of the Pig translated into the coin's design, evoking the generosity and compassion of the pig. The Gold Pandas were first minted in 1982 in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz coins. In 1983, they introduced the 1/20 oz sized coins. Some years also include 5 oz and 12 oz Gold coins. In 2016, The People’s Republic of China began minting Gold Pandas in the metric system sizes to better suit the international appeal of the coins. Each year, the design of the panda changes making them highly collectible. The only year they did not change design was 2002, which used the same design as 2001. Collectors spoke up about this halt in the design changes, and the annual design changes resumed in 2003.
The People’s Republic of China issues and guarantees the quality of each Gold Panda coin. Gold Panda coins are minted from several mints each year. Those mints include but are not limited to Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenyang. Unlike the U.S. Mint, these Chinese Mints do not incorporate mint marks to distinguish the difference between each mint every year. Some years such as 1987 do feature a “Y” mintmark or “S” mintmark. The mints are also known for having minor differences in the design of the coin such as font size, small date, large date and designs of the temple in certain year’s mintages. With the annual change in design, and unique mint variations, the price of Gold Pandas has appreciated over time making them highly sought after by collectors and investors.
To add to their collectibility, the People’s Republic of China issues specialty designed Gold Panda coins for coin expositions. These designs usually feature similar panda designs with extra scrollwork or other design enhancing features along with the expositions name and variations in the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests designs. These coins tend to be an exclusive purchase at the event, but can sometimes be found to purchase by the public.

Gold Sovereign The Gold Sovereign was first struck in 1489, and has endured for centuries. The coin was first released by Henry VII to impress monarchs and others with the wealth of his Tudor dynasty. Succeeding monarchs also had the coin struck during their reign, including Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I. During James I's rule, minting of the coin was ceased, with other Gold coins being struck instead. Then, the guinea coin was introduced in 1663. After the currency reform following the end of the Napoleonic War in 1817, the sovereign was revived. However, during the First World War in 1914, the use of gold was discouraged, and the Sovereign once again disappeared from circulation, until 1957 when the minting of sovereigns on a large scale was resumed. The current design of the Sovereign was first introduced in 1817, with a design by Benedetto Pistrucci, featuring a classic design of St. George mounted on horseback, slaying a dragon. The Double Sovereign was first released in 1820, using the Benedetto Pistrucci design. This particular coin never entered general circulation.
The Sovereign is the flagship coin of The Royal Mint and has become an internationally recognized symbol of unrivaled accuracy, integrity and strength. It has always been produced by The Royal Mint, an institution with more than 1,100 years of history and heritage, and we continue to preserve the quality and accuracy of the coin to this day.

American gold Buffalo 1 oz 2020
Introduced in 2005 under the Presidential $1 Coin Act, American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coins are the US Mint’s first pure gold (.9999 fine) gold bullion coin official to the USA. Struck at the Mint’s West Point, NY facility, these American gold buffalo coins are usually comprised of gold mined within the USA.
The American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin design is based on one of America’s most popular circulation coins, the “Indian Head” or “Buffalo Nickel” that was introduced in 1913. The original Tign was executed by the noted sculptor James Earle Fraser, who was a student of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the designer of the coin that inspired the modern USA official 22k American Eagle gold coin.
On the obverse surface of the American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin is the portrait of a proud Native American male, paying homage to America’s first inhabitants and their rich history. The American Gold Eagles introduction in 1986 was a defining moment for the United States Mint. Most of the nations gold coining history included a purity level of .900 for its circulation coins. In 1834, the federal government lowered the gold standard in coins from 22-karat crown gold to a flat .900, with all coins in circulation after 1837 boasting .900 gold only.
Gold Eagle coins have 22-karat gold content that consists of 91.67% pure gold, 3% silver, and 5.33% copper. The 1986 release of the Gold Eagle marked the first time in more than 150 years that new coins were produced with this level of purity in the US.
On the obverse of 2020 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins is the image of Lady Liberty. This iconic design was in circulation on the $20 Gold Double Eagle coin from 1907 to 1933 and was created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It is considered by many to be the greatest American coin design of the 20thcentury.
The reverse of 2020 Gold Eagles includes a design found exclusively on these coins. Created by Miley Busiek in 1986, it depicts a female eagle in a family nest guarding a hatchling as the male eagle flies overhead.

Another Spectacular Year of a Collector Favorite!
Out of the many things we’ve learned in millennia of human experience, one thing is obvious – gold endures. Whether it’s used in commerce or kept away in vaults, the value and craftsmanship of gold coinage lives from generation to generation. This timeless endurance is why, after South Africa’s Gold Krugerrand was introduced in 1967 and China’s Gold Panda made its debut in 1982, it was absolutely inevitable that the United States would establish its own bullion coin for the ages.
Authorized by Congress and signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, the Gold Eagle Program would quickly establish itself as a global standard for bullion that is artistically rich, perfectly collectible and thoroughly American. Celebrating its 33rd anniversary in 2019, the Ten Dollar Quarter-Ounce Gold Eagle has returned with its beloved, time-honored design!
THE ULTIMATE SAINT-GAUDENS CREATION . . .—These Tenth-Ounce Gold Eagles exhibit a stunning design of Lady Liberty walking forward with focus and purpose, torch in one hand and olive branch in the other. Originally introduced on the famous 1907 $20 Double Eagle and born from collaboration between Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Theodore Roosevelt, this design reveals beautifully intricate details (like the U.S. Capitol building in the distance) with each viewing.
. . . PAIRED WITH A PATRIOTIC FAMILY! –Featuring a male bald eagle carrying an olive branch to his family, sculptor Miley Busiek's design for the reverse continues to serve as a perfect modern companion to Saint-Gaudens’ vision.
EXPERTLY STRUCK IN HIGHLY PURE GOLD –The craftspeople of the U.S. Mint are known around the world for their skill and attention to detail. It's this talent that transforms each quarter-ounce planchet of 91.67% pure gold into a breathtaking work of numismatic art.
