Americas Golden Age of coining may have come in the early 20thcentury, but many of its 19thcentury coins feature Neoclassical styles that investors and collectors enjoy. What makes these coins even more desirable is their status as Pre-1933 gold coins that survived a government collection and meltdown.
Individual coins ship in plastic flips, multiples of 50 in plastic tubes.
Contains .1209 oz of .900 gold.
Struck at five United States Mint locations.
Issued with a $2.50 face value.
Features imagery consistent with other gold coins of the era.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the collection and melting of all gold coins in circulation starting in 1933. The effort was designed to bolster American reserves in the face of the economic turmoil of the Great Depression. Surviving coins, like these Pre-1933 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagles, are extremely rare and limited in supply.
The coins in this product listing were struck between 1840 and 1907. At this time, the United States Mint attempted to maintain consistent designs in all of its gold coins. The Lady Liberty and bald eagle designs on this coin were similar to these and 1839 half-eagles.
On the reverse side of each coin is Lady Liberty's left-profile portrait. She is shown with her hair back in a bun and a crown atop her head. The word Liberty is engraved in the crown, with 13 stars around her bust to represent Americas founding colonies.
The obverse features the original heraldic eagle. With a shield on its chest, the eagle holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons. United States of America is engraved around it, with the face value inscribed below as 2 D. Christian Gobrect designed the images on each side of the coin.
The United States Mint produced these coins at its Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco, Charlotte, and Dahlonega Mints. These coins are available in brilliant uncirculated condition, with no trace of wear. There is a possibility the coins will show contact marks, spotted surfaces, or breaks in luster.

American Gold Eagle 1/10 oz 2020
Another Spectacular Year of a Collector Favorite!
Out of the many things we’ve learned in millennia of human experience, one thing is obvious – gold endures. Whether it’s used in commerce or kept away in vaults, the value and craftsmanship of gold coinage lives from generation to generation. This timeless endurance is why, after South Africa’s Gold Krugerrand was introduced in 1967 and China’s Gold Panda made its debut in 1982, it was absolutely inevitable that the United States would establish its own bullion coin for the ages.
Authorized by Congress and signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1986, the Gold Eagle Program would quickly establish itself as a global standard for bullion that is artistically rich, perfectly collectible and thoroughly American. Celebrating its 33rd anniversary in 2019, the Ten Dollar Quarter-Ounce Gold Eagle has returned with its beloved, time-honored design!
THE ULTIMATE SAINT-GAUDENS CREATION . . .—These Tenth-Ounce Gold Eagles exhibit a stunning design of Lady Liberty walking forward with focus and purpose, torch in one hand and olive branch in the other. Originally introduced on the famous 1907 $20 Double Eagle and born from collaboration between Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Theodore Roosevelt, this design reveals beautifully intricate details (like the U.S. Capitol building in the distance) with each viewing.
. . . PAIRED WITH A PATRIOTIC FAMILY! –Featuring a male bald eagle carrying an olive branch to his family, sculptor Miley Busiek's design for the reverse continues to serve as a perfect modern companion to Saint-Gaudens’ vision.
EXPERTLY STRUCK IN HIGHLY PURE GOLD –The craftspeople of the U.S. Mint are known around the world for their skill and attention to detail. It's this talent that transforms each quarter-ounce planchet of 91.67% pure gold into a breathtaking work of numismatic art.
U.S. LEGAL TENDER –Minted in gold mined in the United States with weight and content guaranteed by the U.S. government, each 2019 Quarter-Ounce Gold Eagle bullion coin is ten dollars U.S. legal tender, as seen on the coin’s reverse.
GRADED IN BU CONDITION –Yorter-Ounce Gold Eagle will arrive to you in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, exactly as it left the U.S. Mint.
This exquisite piece of currency is among the last remaining $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coins produced by the US Mint. It is available and ready to ship in (BU) Brilliant Uncirculated condition. With a mintage period that spans over 69 years from 1838-1907, the Liberty Gold Eagle was the second of the $10 Gold Eagle designs. Because it was produced prior to the cessation of gold currency in 1933, it boasts an impressive purity of 90.0% that makes it a valuable bullion piece for both collectors and investors alike.
Actual gold content of 0.4838 troy oz.
Features .900 fine gold purity.
Issued by the US Mint with a $10 (USD) face value.
Features the design of Christian Gobrecht.
Available in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition.
Individual coins ship in separate plastic sleeves.
The $10 Liberty Gold Eagle Coin was designed by artist, Christian Gobrecht. The obverse of the coin features his neoclassical rendition of the traditional Lady Liberty portrait. In this Greco-Roman inspired image, Lady Liberty appears in profile with her thick curls elegantly arranged beneath an inscribed crown. Framing her beautiful portrait is a border of thirteen stars to symbolize the original thirteen colonies. They are accompanied by the coin’s mintage year, which is engraved directly beneath the portrait.
Proudly embossed unto the reverse side of the coin is Gobrecht interpretation of the Heraldic Eagle, which features the national bird, armed with a shield, an olive branch and a set of arrows. The coin’s denomination and year of mintage have been engraved along the outer edge of the coin for reference.

American gold Buffalo 1 oz 2020
Introduced in 2005 under the Presidential $1 Coin Act, American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coins are the US Mint’s first pure gold (.9999 fine) gold bullion coin official to the USA. Struck at the Mint’s West Point, NY facility, these American gold buffalo coins are usually comprised of gold mined within the USA.
The American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin design is based on one of America’s most popular circulation coins, the “Indian Head” or “Buffalo Nickel” that was introduced in 1913. The original Tign was executed by the noted sculptor James Earle Fraser, who was a student of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the designer of the coin that inspired the modern USA official 22k American Eagle gold coin.
On the obverse surface of the American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin is the portrait of a proud Native American male, paying homage to America’s first inhabitants and their rich history. A gold bison appears on the reverse surface of this American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin honoring the fauna and landscape of the great American West and the pioneering spirit that conquered it. Amidst these heroic emblems are inscriptions for guaranteed gold weight, face value and year of mintage for these popular gold coins.
The troy ounce weight, gold content, and gold purity of the American 1 oz Gold Buffalo Coin are guaranteed by the Government of the United States of America.

That makes the 1 oz coin the longest-running mintage in the proof series. The oz proof coin was added in 1987, with the oz and 1/10 oz coins added in 1988.

Silver 1964 JFK Half Dollar BU
Half Dollar Signed by One of Kennedy’s Astronauts!
“We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win.”
— President John F. Kennedy
President Kennedy spoke those words to a large crowd at Rice Stadium in Houston, Texas on September 12, 1962. It echoed his comments made to a joint session of Congress the year before in which he called for the United States to land a man on the moon by the end of the decade. Sadly, Kennedy never saw his call to action fulfilled. An assassin’s bullet may have cut him down, but America prevailed and completed the task JFK had set out before her.
One of the people instrumental in accomplishing this mission was Charles “Charlie” Duke, who served as CAPCOM (Capsule Communicator) for the landmark Apollo 11 mission that enthralled the world during the summer of 1969 by successfully landing a man on the moon. Serving as the central point of communication between Mission Control and the three-man crew, Duke's Texas accent not only helped guide astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin as they made their momentous journey to the moon’s surface, but became THE voice of Mission Control as his distinctive southern drawl struck a note with television viewers across the world.
Three years later, Duke made history of his own as a member of the Apollo 16 mission. Not only was he the tenth man in history to set foot on the moon, but at the age of 36, Charles “Charlie” Duke was – and still is – the youngest person to ever walk on the surface of the moon.
Now, as the 50th anniversary of that first moon landing approaches, we've teamed up with Charlie Duke to add his mark to these First-nedy Silver Half-Dollars. Each coin has been certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in gorgeous Gem Proof condition. In addition, each comes sonically sealed in an acrylic holder with a black display core and a full-color label featuring both Duke on the moon and his hand-signed signature!
Featuring U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Gilroy Roberts’ bust of President John F. Kennedy, thnedy Half-Dollar was originally meant to be a one-year-only tribute to the fallen President. It proved to be so popular, however, that the U.S. Mint has issued it every year since. The coin’s reverse is a modified design of the Presidential Seal by Frank Gasparro, who replaced Roberts as the U.S. Mint’s Chief Engraver in 1965.
With excitement about the 50thanniversary of the first moon landing building by leaps and bounds, anything associated with the historic event has become of intense interest to collectors and science and space travel buffs. Don't miss out on owning this historic coin with a label signed by a true American hero. Blast off for yours today!

LARGE LEGAL-TENDER COIN –Each large, 30.6 mm coin is 50 cents legal tender in the United States.
GRADED IN GORGEOUS GEM PROOF CONDITION –Yonedy Half-Dollar has been graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in gorgeous Gem Proof condition, meaning it was expertly crafted by the mint from hand-selected planchets, polished dies and multiple strikes to produce beautifully frosted details rising over mirror-like fields.

The People’s Republic of China issues and guarantees the quality of each Gold Panda coin. Gold Panda coins are minted from several mints each year. Those mints include but are not limited to Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenyang. Unlike the U.S. Mint, these Chinese Mints do not incorporate mint marks to distinguish the difference between each mint every year. Some years such as 1987 do feature a “Y” mintmark or “S” mintmark. The mints are also known for having minor differences in the design of the coin such as font size, small date, large date and designs of the temple in certain year’s mintages. With the annual change in design, and unique mint variations, the price of Gold Pandas has appreciated over time making them highly sought after by collectors and investors.
To add to their collectibility, the People’s Republic of China issues specialty designed Gold Panda coins for coin expositions. These designs usually feature similar panda designs with extra scrollwork or other design enhancing features along with the expositions name and variations in the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests designs. These coins tend to be an exclusive purchase at the event, but can sometimes be found to purchase by the public.
